Court-Approved Protocol Limits Claims for Family Members Attending HCV Medical Appointments - Sept 2024

The Courts have recently approved a Protocol that limits the claims that may be made for a family member attending an HCV medical appointment with the HCV infected person. The benefit will now only be payable for certain types and number of HCV medical appointments based on the disease level of the HCV infected person. You may review the Court-Approved Protocol here.

*Payments to the estates of the approved class members from the Province of Quebec are subject to a different protocol approved by the Superior Court of Quebec, already in effect and available here.
