SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION BENEFIT CREATED FOR ALIVE CO-INFECTED HEMOPHILIACS

Alive hemophiliacs co-infected with HIV who made the $50,000 election under section 4.08(2) of the Hemophiliac HCV Plan may now apply to the Administrator to receive all benefits which they would have been entitled to under that Plan based on disease level, any other applicable Special Distribution Benefits and any applicable future benefits which may be created. The compensation received to date (indexed to the current year’s dollar values) will be deducted from the total amount payable under this Special Distribution Benefit.

If you are a co-infected hemophiliac who made the $50,000 election, please contact the Administrator to discuss the additional compensation based on your current disease level that may be available to you if you apply for this Special Distribution Benefit.
