TEMPORARY COVID-19 MEASURES

If you were unable to complete a step you were required to take under any Plan or Court-Approved Protocol after March 16, 2020 because you were adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, you may apply to the Administrator to request an extension of time to allow you to complete the step. In order to qualify for an extension, you must satisfy the Administrator that your circumstances relating to the COVID-19 pandemic justify an extension of time.

The time for the Administrator to render a decision on a claim or late claim subject to a Traceback under the Traceback Protocol is temporarily extended because Canadian Blood Services’ operations have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These temporary COVID-19 measures are in effect until further orders of the Courts.
