Schedule G - Description of Activities by Eckler Partners Ltd.

The firm of Eckler Partners Ltd. was engaged to provide the Trust Fund with continuing actuarial advice during the year. In 1999, Eckler Partners had completed the initial actuarial valuation of the assets and liabilities of the Trust Fund that was used before the courts in seeking approval of the settlement agreement. In 2002, they completed the first triennial actuarial valuations of the assets and liabilities of the Trust Fund as at December 31, 2001.

During the 2004/2005 fiscal year, Eckler Partners provided continuing assistance with respect to lifting the holdbacks; prepared summaries of the investment activities, asset development and investment returns for the Joint Committee; assisted the Joint Committee in a number of areas including quarterly interest accumulations and allocations to the outstanding liabilities for the provincials governments, the ongoing review of investment, claims and financial experience; provided updates to the payments schedules and compensation limits for increases in inflation; commenced work on the triennial actuarial valuation of the assets and liabilities of the Trust Fund as at December 31, 2004; and other miscellaneous items.
