Re: Héma-Québec's Expenditures
As requested, we have performed the procedures listed below
in connection with Madame Justice Morneau's Court Order
(the Order) dated March 22, 2001 regarding expenditures
incurred by Héma-Québec in providing services
to the Administrator of the 1986 -1990 Hepatitis C Fund
(the "Fund").
The order approved spending by the Fund for costs incurred
by Héma-Québec as follows:

The procedures performed which covered the period up to
March 31, 2001, were as follows:
The total amount of expenditures reported by Héma-Québec
as incurred under the Order for the period up to March 31,
2001 was $82,230 for tracebacks and $10,047 for storage
costs (see details attached).
As a result of applying the above procedures, we have found
no exceptions. However, these procedures do not constitute
an audit of Héma-Québec's expenditures in
this connection for the stated period and therefore we express
no opinion thereon.
This report is solely for your use in connection with your
assessment of expenditures incurred by Héma-Québec
for the period up to March 31, 2001.
