34. Towers Perrin was appointed Investment Consultant of
the Trust Fund pursuant to Orders of the Courts. The Joint
Committee recommends the continuation of this appointment.
35. Attached hereto and marked as Schedule
"K" is a letter dated May 1, 2001 from Towers
Perrin summarizing their activities for the fiscal year
ended March 31, 2001. Attached and marked as Schedule
"L" is a copy of the Executive Summary of
the annual report of Towers Perrin which has been provided
to the Joint Committee.
36. The Courts approved an annual budget for Towers Perrin
in the amount of $56,004.00. The actual expenses of Towers
Perrin for the year ended March 31, 2001 were the budgeted
amount.
37. Towers Perrin proposes and the Joint Committee recommends
that its budget for the year commencing April 1, 2001 and
ending March 31, 2002 be $56,000.00 plus GST. This proposed
budget is set out in Schedule
"K".
